I’ve started, built, bought and / or sold 12 businesses, including building and then selling two businesses to Heineken for over $350 million. I also helped to finance many other businesses, raising equity & debt capital, advising on mergers & acquisitions, and directly investing myself.

(I say ‘I’ – I’ve been blessed with amazing people and high performing Teams along the way – so to be clear, everything I have accomplished in business is actually ‘We’ – just the players change according to the opportunity & mission requirements.)

I was C-suite and Board member at a publicly traded company (that we IPO’d). I’ve also grinded in small business, scrambling like a mf to make payroll. And I’ve made just about every mistake in the book – I’ve earned some grey hairs in my life.
